MEET AMBER WILKES

"Nothing feels better than to capture my clients personality and beauty."

- Amber Wilkes

Born and raised a midwest artist, Amber Wilkes started her art career at a very young age. In grade school, a painting she did accidentally won the adult division at the state fair. It was then her parents knew she had a gift. They supported her by letting her spend her summers working with well-known artists.

In high school she was awarded multiple art scholarships. By the time she graduated college, she had received accolades for Sculpture, Illustration, Painting, and Photography. Because of this, her art career went down many avenues. From museum curator, to educator, to photographer assistant for Rod Evans and then to become a photojournalist at one of the top news papers in the U.S.

Nothing has stopped her thirst for the arts. In 2006 she went back to college to further her creative exploration. By 2008 she graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology acquiring another art degree in Photography.

Since then she has photographed hundreds of weddings and thousands of families. She takes special care into getting to know each and every individual like they are a part of her own family.

Amber's art fuels her soul. She feels so gracious to have a gift that makes so many people so happy.
